8 Mega Pixel Craze

Olympus started it a few months ago with it's All Weather Stylus 800, which was the smallest 8MP digital camera I came across which is selling below 400 Dollars on Amazon, now Canon is joining the club with it's PowerShot S80 8 MP which should be available on Amazon on October 10th, Other Brands like Panasonic are going to start selling 2 Cameras on September 25th, the Lumix DMC-LX1K (Black) and the Lumix DMC-LX1S (Silver), and on the same day Konica Minolta is going to add one more camera to it's DiMage line, the DiMage X1 and Nikon is launching it's Coolpix P1 on October 20th... if you're in a hurry and need an 8 megapixel camera as soon as possible.. you can go for the Stylus 800 or the Samsung Digimax V800 or just wait and compare them with other cameras..
