Healing the wound!
"We die, rich with lovers and tribes, tastes we have swallowed, bodies we have plundered" Katherine Clifton. Smoking the day's last puffs, I came to realize how pitiful my life had become... In a conversation with a friend I have discovered that I've made the biggest mistake of my life. A mistake that I should have figured out 3 and half years ago. Surrendering to a past that could never come back again! Images that come to me of people and places have always bothered and frightened me... Someone that I'd never be with again, not because it's my decision but because fate had chosen for them to give away all that is of sentimental value. And to me, they have always been. Why is life so hard when you're devoted? When you pour your heart out to someone there's always a chance that you'd get stabbed in the back..... *Sigh* My friend, today, was trying to help me get back on track! But what she didn't know is what I've been through in the last few years... When you vow never to go back to that place again, everything else doesn't matter except a word from that very person who have hurt you one day. Again, I sign it with, I'm Talking Non-Sense! |

its not none sense its pure sense...
been driven away in this chaotic world... i sometimes stop and step aside and glance back, not too long just a quick glance, enough to make a mental note of the past and to choose what to carry and what to leave back…
I chose to leave my excess baggage behind and just carry whatever needs or has to be carried… whatever will help my tomorrow and whatever needs me tomorrow…
Hope am making sense… this is a virtual hug from a friend that glanced back and carried you forward with her….
It's a matter of choice, you choose whether to move on or stay right where are.
if there is a will there is a way, your friend can not succeed in convincing you that "life does go on" unless YOU believe it's true and 'Change' has the power to uplift, to heal, to stimulate, to open new doors, to bring new experience and create excitement in life.
good luck
Well, it makes pure sense.. everyone makes mistakes, but what's important is that you learn from your mistakes..
Past is past.. let it go, live for today not yesterday nor tomorrow.
Life's what you make it, live the way you want to. Life's tough, no doubt about that, but what you gonna do.. you have to go on...
Being hurt by someone you love is just one of the stones you fall on through your rough journey in life. All you can do is stand up, dust yourself off and continue in your path.
Having faith in God, believing in yourself and having loyal friends is bond to lift above all these minor set backs in life.
In the end the past consists of bad memories that we struggle to forget and good ones that we hang on to with both hands and teeth.
My advices to you is always have faith in God, pick your friends and loved ones carefully and get rid of the bad memories by keeping the dear ones alive in your heart.
My comment might be weak to some people but its straight from the heart and that's what matters.
Thank you all :) I'm blessed to have you around me.
