After a long day at work in an even longer month. I lie down on my bed for the first time in months, my lights switched off staring at the ceiling. As I was checking my ceiling for any cracks, many thoughts went whizzing by at the exact same time my brains shared the utter silence of my empty house. I refused to pamper my self with this bliss for more than a moment, so … I called a friend whom I haven’t been in proper contact with lately (my situation with everybody lately). We chatted a bit, joked around… and; as he casually spoke out loud, a moment in my inner cycle stopped…. Suddenly the lights were turned on in my black and white room, I can smell the grass again, I c a rainbow in the far distance, and; …. I could actually hear Pavarotti singing in the background… Then I knew, i knew i had a friend who cared, someone who innocently spoke their mind not knowing the impact it will have on me… Thanks friend… Say it out loud, it can make a difference..
